Disposable Nappies - Cheap Pampers Trick!

Man alive, I would never have believed the number of nappies that we have got through over the past year.  Quite frankly, we have encountered a world of poo that I would never have imagined.

How on earth are you supposed to save on such essentials? The answer: a cunning mix of bulk buying, cashback sites and loyalty points.

We have found that Pampers Baby Dry to be terrific. So much so, you don’t need to change the nappy quite as frequently as a supermarket own brand. They are normally quite expensive, though.

Looking at  a 30 pack of Size 4 from Asda, you’re looking at about 16p per nappy.

However, with the following trick, you can get it down to just under 11p per nappy. These pennies (no pun intended) really do add up as the months go on.

1. First, go to a cashback site like TopCashback.com. If you don’t have an account yet, click on http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/rizz80

2. Search ‘Boots’

3. Follow the link to claim the cashback. This company will give existing Boots customers 2% back on any baby orders. For new customer, the cashback is a rather lovely 6%.

Boots currently have a 3 for 2 deal on at the moment, and so for a Pampers Mega box (bigger than the Jumbo Box).

4. At the end of the transaction, make sure you include your Advantage Card information to claim further points (3 Mega boxes earned us 148 points). Remember to make sure that you are a member of their Parenting Club to get 10 points for every £1.

There are special offers on all the time from a number of different supermarkets and online shops - I’d love to hear of anyone’s tricks to beat the cost of disposable nappies!

Next post will be about Washable Nappies. Gulp.
